ABS Dry Installed
Sewage Pump FR
Dry
installed clogless pumps for economic pumping of heavily polluted
sewage and wastewater in municipal and industrial applications.
The back-pull-out design utilises standard electrical motors
making the pump very service-friendly. Ample space inside the
impeller and volute makes them less prone to clogging. Smaller
units are supplied with vortex and single chanenel impellers
with the ContraBlock feature. A dry running capability is possible
with a double seal arrangement. The pumps can be supplied with
optional equipment where self-priming is required.
Flow up to: 8,000 m³/h (35,000 USgpm)
Head, max: 65 m (210 ft)

ABS PIRANHA
Submersible Grinder Pump
Sewage
pumps with shredding action used for reliable and economical
discharge of effluent under pressure, using small diameter discharge
lines in communal schemes. For effluent removal from houses
especially in rural areas where high ground must be overcome,
or where only small diameter pipework can be laid. Other applications
include effluent removal from motorway service stations and
campsites, large construction sites, urban renewal and renovation
of buildings. Pumped medium: sewage and other heavily polluted
wastewater.
Flow up to: 8.6 l/s (140USgpm)
Head, max: 80m (260ft)

ABS Submersible
Mixed Flow Column Pump AFL
Submersible
axial flow pumps for direct installation in discharge pipes
save space and installation costs. They are intended for large
flows and moderate heads for stormwater, land drainage and flood
protection. The AFL can handle sewage from commercial, municipal
and industrial sources. Thanks to its semi-open impellers, trouble-free
pumping of liquids containing solids and fibrous material is
ensured. The compact units are lowered into standard steel tubes
and need no anchoring. Their own weight is sufficient to hold
the units securely in position. The robust design and quality
materials ensure high operational reliability and hydraulic
efficiency up to 88%.
Flow up to: 11 000 m³/h (48 000 USgpm)
Head, max: 30 m (100 ft)

ABS Submersible
Propeller Pump VUP
ABS
submersible propeller pumps of the VUP series are ideal for
applications where large volumes of waste or process water have
to be pumped up to heads of 12 m. They are compact and can be
installed vertically in a space saving manner. They are ideal
for storm water protection, for irrigation and dewatering, for
cooling and process water and for a multitude of other applications.
The compact units are lowered into standard steel tubes and
need no anchoring. Their own weight is sufficient to hold the
units securely in position. The robust design and quality materials
ensure high operational reliability and hydraulic efficiency
up to 88%.
Flow up to: 7,000 l/s (110,600 USgpm)
Head, max: 12 m (39 ft)

ABS Submersible
Recirculation Pump RCP
Submersible
propeller pump for pumping and circulating activated sludge
in wastewater treatment plants, especially for the denitrification/nitrification
process. It is intended for large flow and low heads between
0.1 and 1.8 m (4 - 71 in). In contrast to conventional axial
flow pumps, recirculation pumps do not require expensive structures
in the tank. The unit is lowered along a guide tube and connected
by an automatic coupling system to the pipeline.
Flow up to: 4,500 m³/h (20,000 USgpm)
Head, max: 1.8 m (6 ft)
