Being virtually maintenance free the heaters provide long life around 10,000 hours and are easyily replaceable by removing a single mounting clip, insuring minimum down time.

Extruder Rupture Disks

Extruder Rupture Disks are designed for reliable emergency relief of excess pressure since they instantaneously rupture at a specific predetermined pressure range.

Cyronix's model CBP Extruder Rupture Disk is designed specifically for use in plastic extruders. Each assembly consists of a stainless steel body and rupture disk. A rupture disk may be specified for primary relief in applications where pressure buildup can occur so rapidly that the response time of a relief valve is inadequate, such as in a polymerization reaction vessel.

Intelligent Concentration Density Transmitter

The DT301 Intelligent Concentration/ Density Transmitter is an instrument developed for the continuous, online measurement of liquid concentration and density, directly in the industrial process. Its pioneer technology consists of a capacitive type differential pressure transmitter coupled to a pair of pressure repeaters immersed in the process.

A temperature sensor located between the two pressure repeaters is used to compensate the temperature variations in the process fluid. A dedicated software, by means of an algorithm, calculates the fluid density. Depending on the industrial process, density may be expressed in Brix degree, Gay-Lussac degree, Baum degree, Plato degree, concentration, etc.

Designed for process control applications, these 2-wire transmitters generate a 4-20 mA signal proportional to the concentration/density. Digital communication for remote calibration and monitoring is also provided.

Pump Controllers

Ktech Industrial Products Inc., Pump Controllers are installed to automatically operate a pump to control the level of a liquid in a tank. Pump Controllers are used in conjunction with Ktech Multi-Level Float Switches. Use two contacts to start and stop the pump. A relay circuit switches power to the fractional horsepower pump motor or to the three-phase contactor of a large pump motor. Similarly, the switch contacts can be used to operate solenoid valves.

Use additional contacts to indicate an alarm condition. These alarms provide an audible and visual signal. The audible signal can be muted after which the warning light remains on until the alarm condition is corrected.
