Mini-skimmers
have been in use throughout the world since
1990. Thousands are used daily to remove
unwanted floating "tramp" oils.
They
are small, run very quietly, and use a very
dependable permanent magnet motor! Standard
models for industrial users include oil
pickup rate to 1 gallon/hour, loose or fixed
tail pulley design, and a choice of polyurethane
(for coolants & oil/water) or stainless
steel(for parts washing) belts in four standard
length sizes.
Special
skimmers with other options such as special
belt lengths (to 100 ft.), two belts, stainless
motor covers, etc. are available.
 Model
MSB Mini-Skimmer fitted for a 2" mounting
well. PVC pipe show on "demo model
is 2" I.D. fitted with a 1" wide
stainless steel belt.
Belts can reach as far down as 50 ft. They
are equipped with special small tail pulley
and weight bar.

Tech
Sales Co. new WAYNE Mini-Sep complements the already
popular Mini-skimmer compact oil skimmer. All types
of oil simmers will lift some of the “host”
fluid along with the oil that is collected, whether
it is water from a parts washer or coolant from
a machining operation. Normally is about 7% with
wheel type skimmers and 1% with belt skimmers but
it can vary widely.
