Air Wipe Blow-Off System - Ring-Blade from Nex Flow

The Nex Flow™ Ring Blade™ Air Wipe takes compressed air and entrain surrounding air to amplify Air Flow downstream in a conical shape to efficiently remove liquids and to cool extruded parts such as window profiles, extruded EPDM trim, wire, drawn shapes, rope, tubing and other shapes that need to be cleaned, cooled or dried.

These units move a tremendous amount of air utilizing the “coanda” effect “amplifying” air flow reducing energy needed for blowoff an cooling. The downstream air produced has high velocity and “laminar flow” for strong blow-off and cleaning power.

1. ½” Inside Diameter ideal for high speed drying and wire and small extruded materials under ½” in size

3. 2” Inside Diameter perfect for cooling and drying large tubing, rope, extruded EPDM profiles for vehicles, pipe, and other extrusions under 2” in size

4. 3” Inside Diameter is used for large pipe and tube drying and larger extrusions under 3”

5. 4” Inside Diameter units for even larger pipe and extrusion cooling and drying under 4”

Heavy Duty X-Stream™ Ring-Vac™ - How It Works


Compressed air enters at point (A) into an annular chamber and throttled through a small ring nozzle at high velocity. This air stream clings to the coanda profile directing the air stream down toward the surface which is angled to create a “cone” style directed force to best clean, wipe and dry a surface. The surrounding air is entrained at point (B) creating an amplified 360 degree conical airflow at point (C) to uniformly wipe the surface of the of the material running through the Ring Blade TM. The wet or dirty material (D) direction of travel is against the flow.
