Flanged Immersion Heaters

Flanged immersion heaters are used in large capacity vessels, in high pressure applications and are installed by bolting the unit to a matching flange welded to the vessel wall.

Flanged immersion heaters, both round flange and square flange models are a great choice for applications requiring larger wattages. Flanged immersion heaters are designed for installation into a pipe body, tank or pressure vessel using standard pipe size. These heaters are available in a wide selection of rates, sizes and sheath materials suitable for the heating requirements of water, air and other gases. Flanged immersion heaters are very efficient since all energy that is generated is dissipated directly into the medium which is being heated. All flanged heater models incorporate tubular heater construction welded or brazed into a carbon steel pipe flange. Nema 1 terminal enclosures are supplied with all standard units. Moisture resistant and explosion proof models are also available. All flanged immersion heaters we offer you including heaters for hazardous locations are CSA/NRTL and UL approved.

PSL 5.0 Hybrid Pump Station Level Controller

Ideal for sewage pump stations, lift stations, wet wells and tank level control with a non-contacting ultrasonic sensor mounted above the liquid. The new Greyline PSL 5.0 Level Controller has 6 independently programmable control relays for pump or valve control, level alarms, dialers, temperature alarm and echo-loss alarm.

Mount the non-contacting, ultrasonic sensor in the tank or wet well and install the watertight electronics in the control room or any location within 500 ft / 150 m. Use the simple menu system and built-in keypad to set up measurement range, relay set points and pump alternation sequence. A relay/pump run time report is updated and stored automatically for viewing on the PSL 5.0 backlit LCD display.

For hazardous locations, the ultrasonic sensor is rated Intrinsically Safe with an optional safety barrier. It is rated for measurement ranges up to 32 ft / 10 m, or use the optional PVC Sensor rated for 50 ft / 15.6 m measurement range.

Air Nozzles And Air Amplifying Nozzles For Drying And Blow Off Applications

Air Nozzles are the smallest amplifiers for point applications.

Air Jets entrain large volumes of surrounding air through the Jet (similar to Air Amplifiers) and are more efficient than Air Nozzles. They cover a larger blowoff target than an Air Nozzle.

The larger the Air Nozzle the greater the efficiency for flow amplification and significant energy savings can be achieved. It is important to recognize that amplification Air Nozzles are “flow” amplifiers and not force amplifiers. However the more air consumed the greater the force produced.

The most important reason to use Air Nozzles is safety. All Nex Flow™ Air Nozzles meet OSHA standard CFR 1910.242(b) for dead end pressure. Noise levels are dramatically reduced with Air Nozzles in addition to lower energy use.

ACCUDRAW PVC Calibration Cylinders Now Certified to NSF-61

Primary Fluid Systems Inc. has recently attained certification for its Accudraw PVC calibration cylinders. NSF/ANSI-61 ensures the quality and material of products which come in contact with drinking water. It ensures that the product meets all regulatory requirements for the USA and Canada.

Air Jets From Nex Flow™

Air Jets are larger than nozzles and used when a wider area needs to be hit with the amplified air. They are significantly more efficient than nozzles although often use as much compressed air. Their best use is to replace pairs of nozzles that are used for part ejection or for blow-off applications that require greater force than that provided by air knives or air movers. Nozzles are for point use while air jets can fan out somewhat for better continuous blow-off when a row of them are made. Nex Flow air jets are all made adjustable with a lock ring to assure the security of any gap setting. They have a female 1/8” NPT and made lightweight with anodized aluminum.


IP144 Pressure Indicator from ONEhalf20

The IP144 Pressure Indicator offers a field selectable display and up to 2 configurable alarms, and dual LED display of PV and SV. The IP144 also offers optional 4-20mA or 0-10Vdc process pressure value re-transmission, and MODbus communications.

The IP144 pressure indicator is a standard 1/4 DIN (96 X 96 mm) package and is only 100mm deep.

Fuji PXR Series Digital Temperature Controllers

The PXR series comes in several sizes - 1/32 DIN, 1/16 DIN, 1/8 DIN and 1/4 DIN. Besides the standard features including auto-tuning and fuzzy logic, they also come with self-tuning. This innovative feature automatically retunes the controller under certain conditions without the need to revert to auto-tuning.

The standard 8-segment ramp/soak feature has been expanded to include two patterns that can be linked to create a 16 step profile. The PXR accepts temperature and process inputs and offers a choice of three kinds of outputs to meet a wide variety of process requirements. Low cost options include dual outputs, programmable alarms, remote setpoint, RS485 communications, analog retransmission, digital input, timer function, heater burnout alarm and 24V AC/DC supply voltage.


RD4H-5/8 Extrusion Rupture Disc

The RD4H-5/8 Extrusion Rupture Disc is designed for emergency relief of excess pressure in plastics processing machinery. It is designed to instantaneously rupture at a predetermined pressure.

The RD4H-5/8 Extrusion Rupture Disc has a 4" stem, Hex Head and a 5/8 - 11 NC mounting thread. The RD4H-5/8 is available in a wide variety of burst pressures and is typically a stock item.

Adjustable Air Amplifiers

Adjustable Air Amplifiers from Nex Flow™ Air Products Corp., are a simple, inexpensive devices with virtually no maintenance that can convey fumes, of air for cooling, blowoff and drying applications. They use the "coanda effect" which entrains a large amount of surrounding air using only a small amount od compressed air. The effect is an amplification of up to 17 times the airflow or more (depending on the size) with reduced noise levels. Using only compressed air, the output flow and vacumm is easily controlled by adjusting or opening the air gap and/or inlet pressure. Either end of the air amplifier may be ducted to address all kinds of applications from bringing in fresh air into an area to removing nasty fumes. Be wary of unrealistic or unsubstantiated amplification ratios claimed by some companies.
